Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead warehouse team in receiving, storing, moving, and counting materials while maintaining organized facilities using 5S methods. Manage material movements between inventory locations and warehouses, execute facility maintenance solutions, and release back orders as stock becomes available. Receive shipments from carriers, verify item accuracy, process receiving documents via scanning, and compile stock control records to determine replenishment needs. Monitor operational procedures, prepare strategic plans, test ERP/WMS systems, and reconcile inventory quantities between systems. Directly supervise employees, handle hiring and training, and investigate discrepancies in invoices or stock counts. Requires associate's degree or equivalent experience; hourly pay in quiet office environment with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
