Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Summary
Manage incoming materials through the facility, ensuring timely delivery to manufacturing and engineering while overseeing all MIL-SPEC and general shipments. Control storage and tracking of customer furnished items, conduct min/max inventory checks for consumables, and enforce calibrated instrument standards. Operate and perform barcode scanning and data entry into the ERP system, stack skids, and manage truck driver loading and unloading using a company vehicle. Lead inventory staff, train on processes, and develop procedures to minimize losses and reduce costs. Monitor inventory levels, analyze trends, and prepare reports to management. Maintain organized stock room areas, build industrial crates, and obtain a forklift license to move heavy parts. Work 1st shift Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 5 years of related work experience
- Strong communication skills including the ability to read, write, and understand English
- Computer experience, programs, and data entry
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- US Citizenship/Green card
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Previous experience as an Inventory Supervisor or related position
- Proficient knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
- Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access
- 1st shift Monday - Friday (some Saturdays)
