Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of warehouse aisles and areas, providing written notification of unsafe conditions to the Lead Inventory Control Coordinator. Perform and complete daily cycle counts, process customer and vendor returns, and submit all related paperwork to relay count or product issues to management. Assist in loading and unloading goods onto delivery vehicles according to operating procedures, and record, process, and re-stock all customer returned products. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and dock area while attending weekly safety meetings. Requires physical capability to lift over 60 pounds and operate warehouse equipment including sit-down and standing forklifts, reach trucks, and order selectors. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with guaranteed 40 hours per week plus overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Good physical condition
- Capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Capable of climbing steps and ladders
- Capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkway
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, Reach trucks, and standing order selectors
