Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of warehouse aisles and areas, documenting unsafe conditions for the Lead Inventory Control Coordinator. Perform and complete daily cycle counts, process customer and vendor returns, and submit required paperwork to relay specific product issues. Load and unload goods onto delivery vehicles according to operating procedures, and record, process, and re-stock all returned products from Chadwell delivery drivers. Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and dock area while attending weekly safety meetings. This role supports Chadwell Supply's nationwide network of 29 branches, offering long-term career advancement opportunities for employees.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Good physical condition
- Capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Capable of climbing steps and ladders
- Capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkway
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors
