Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts and physical audits, investigating discrepancies, tracking movement from receiving to distribution, and ensuring compliant procedures. Collaborates with purchasing, warehouse, and operations to forecast needs, implements control procedures, identifies slow-moving or obsolete stock, and prepares inventory reports for management. Must occasionally travel to Cape May, NJ. Proficiency with inventory management software and Excel, knowledge of ERP/WMS systems preferred, and strong detail orientation and teamwork skills key to maintaining optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods
