Job Summary
Conduct cycle counts of warehouse inventory at least four times annually, verifying pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and packaging integrity. Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items, research root causes of count discrepancies and inventory shrinkage, and document product transfers between cooler and freezer units. Confirm reserve pallet counts, verify put-away and transfer processes, and coordinate will-call orders on scheduled Saturdays. Maintain accurate records of quantity, type, and value of stocked materials and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have exemplary listening skills
- Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year experience preferred
