Job Summary
Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and other IT assets within the data center region, including servers and networking equipment; coordinate shipping/receiving of IT materials; conduct audits and generate detailed records and reports; collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to allocate resources and optimize asset utilization; utilize inventory management software; ensure effective documentation of shipments, audits, and inventory status; handle high-accuracy record-keeping and problem-solve discrepancies; perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects in a data center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with asset management software.
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects and work comfortably in a data centre environment.
- Experience maintaining detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits.
