Inventory Control Specialist II (On-Site)

Monitor stock levels and generate purchase orders in accordance with replenishment guidelines. Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, review system reports to create orders for stock merchandise, and place vendor orders balancing projected needs with promotions. Ensure pricing and costs are accurate on all purchase orders while partnering with marketing, pricing, inventory control, and accounts payable to resolve discrepancies. Provide guidance and training to less experienced co-workers and assist staff and customers with product and freight information. Return defective merchandise to ensure timely vendor credit. Requires a high school diploma or GED with three years of related experience. Hourly pay; on-site role in Sitka, AK.
