Inventory Control Specialist II General Admin

Monitor stock levels and generate purchase orders in accordance with replenishment guidelines. Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, while reviewing system-generated reports to create purchase orders for stock merchandise. Place special orders from vendors to balance projected needs with promotions, ensuring pricing accuracy and cost accounting on all orders. Partner with marketing, pricing, inventory control, and accounts payable departments to resolve system and invoice cost discrepancies. Provide sales assistance on products and freight to staff and customers, and return defective merchandise to ensure timely vendor credits. Train less experienced co-workers on inventory procedures and product information. This hourly role offers a competitive rate between $20 and $25.
