Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Inventory Control Specialist I is responsible for monitoring the accuracy of inventory information and making necessary adjustments based on physical verification and computer research. Duties include compiling data, performing cycle counts, researching inventory discrepancies, assigning SKU numbers, and creating reports for management. Strong data entry skills, effective communication abilities, and basic mathematical skills are required. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ERP program, with an emphasis on safety and compliance during inventory tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
