Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist I responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, correcting discrepancies between physical and system quantities, assigning and maintaining SKU logic, generating management reports, and placing purchase orders to balance stock with projected needs. Duties include data-entry and ERP usage, maintaining inventory records and costs, preparing for physical inventory, reducing obsolete inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Requires strong data-entry skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, and the ability to generate and review reports; lifting up to 80 pounds may be required. The role emphasizes collaboration with shipping/receiving, requisitions, contracts, and accounting to sustain accurate stock levels and support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED and one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
