Inventory Control Specialist - Hog Technologies

Job Summary
Examine incoming goods against packing slips and work orders to verify accuracy, then record shipment data including damages or discrepancies for reporting. Stock and issue materials to appropriate work orders while reviewing short order reports and verifying clerical computations against physical stock counts. Confer with representatives to rectify problems such as shortages or nonconformances, and compile information on material receipt to compute inventory balances. Prepare documents for quantity discrepancies and vendor returns, and recommend surveys of depleted or defective items. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for eight-hour shifts, and operate computers for order tracking. A general understanding of mechanics is desirable.
