Job Summary
Compile and maintain accurate records of inventory quantity, type, and value by performing daily physical counts and verifying them against system records. Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and reports, then make authorized adjustments. Inspect returning trailers, verify returned and damaged merchandise, and process eligible goods back into inventory. Monitor product quality to identify and remove spoiled or poor-quality items before customer purchase, repacking produce to minimize loss. Perform daily counts of produce and other designated products while maintaining organized records. Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment to contribute positively to the company's profit margin.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED

- Experience in accounting, accounting administrative support, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related area preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify and report discrepancies between physical inventory and records
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to organize, maintain, and file records accurately
