Job Summary
Conduct daily cycle counts, category reviews, and random audits of incoming/outgoing trucks, shipping/receiving documents, and customer storage areas to ensure inventory accuracy. Research discrepancies in tagging or SKUing, adjust inventory systems, and document report findings for monthly OSDR reports. Check customer receipts daily, resolve issues with the Operations Manager, and communicate shrinkage risks via email. Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP and provide assistance during physical inventory periods. Work in a warehouse environment with moderate to noisy conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Monday through Sunday hours include 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM weekdays, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturdays, and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- One year of inventory control experience in a 'big box' retail company
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
