Job Summary
Conduct daily cycle counts, category reviews, and audits of shipping/receiving, BFR, SOR, SRR, RTV, and customer storage areas per SOP. Investigate inventory discrepancies, adjust the inventory system, and review shipping documents for accuracy. Run monthly OSDR reports for specific merchandise categories, document findings, and submit corrections to the Operations Manager. Verify customer receipts daily, apply "Sample" tape to written-off wood boxes, and notify management of tagging or SKUing errors. Communicate shrinkage risks via email and propose solutions to the Store Management Team.
Required Qualifications
- One year of inventory control experience in a 'big box' retail company
- Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Demonstrated point of sale analysis and reporting experience
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented
- Highly organized
- Excellent customer service skills
