Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory within the store. Key responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, researching inventory discrepancies, auditing shipping and receiving documents, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures. The role requires one year of experience in inventory control, strong computer skills, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move objects within medium work parameters.
Required Qualifications
- One year of inventory control experience in a 'big box' retail company or equivalent education/experience
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
