Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for tracking supplies in the warehouse and managing orders to facilitate production. Key duties include signing off on shipments, counting available products, placing orders based on demand, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Candidates should possess familiarity with company policies, experience in inventory control, and strong communication skills. Additional responsibilities include resolving inventory discrepancies, preparing reports, and participating in yearly inventory checks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s preferred; some college work required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Proficient in data entry with minimal errors
- Excellent computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an inventory control field / warehouse preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP or other inventory control software a plus
