Job Summary
Review inventory for accuracy according to company standards, maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand, and investigate discrepancies in reported quantities and locations. Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis, assess output trends daily, weekly, or monthly, and place or receive orders in a timely manner. Lead others in safe work practices within the distribution center environment while monitoring delivery schedules. Requires 1-3 years of inventory control experience, proficiency in Excel and inventory management software, and the ability to work in loud, non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions with moving mechanical parts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory control or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Constant movement and use of limbs
