Job Summary
Conduct cycle counts, yearly physical inventories, and parts audits to ensure inventory accuracy within the facility. Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits of production kits, run locator reports, and assist in developing localized inventory policies. Identify and quarantine damaged products, record accurate data for inventory metrics, and communicate issues impacting accuracy to the Operations Manager. Assist with root cause analysis for count inaccuracies and actively participate in the 5S process. Adhere to ISO standards, safety policies, and wear required PPE, including obtaining a forklift operator certificate. Work full-time in a heated manufacturing environment, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- Be able to lift, push and pull objects as necessary
- Must be able to accurately read and verify alpha numeric characters and product descriptions
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations
- Must be able to visually distinguish between different qualities of similar product
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability
- Must be able to read, write and speak English language
- Must be able to obtain a forklift operators certificate by passing required certification
- Able to work full-time, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed
- Able to work additional hours as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP system
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a warehousing facility
- Solid working knowledge of inventory control practices
- Strong computer and Excel skills
- Experience utilizing pallet jacks, forklifts and material handling equipment as necessary to perform job duties
- Demonstrate a positive attitude toward co-workers, other department and the Company
- Maintain respect, courtesy and professionalism toward all co-workers and the Company
- Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and management
- Actively participate and support the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis
