Job Summary
Conduct daily asset tracking, logistics coordination, and audits for onsite hardware and IT materials within the data center region. Maintain accurate inventory records, manage shipments and storage, and collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to optimize resource allocation and resolve discrepancies. Utilize inventory management software to generate regular reports and ensure equipment availability. Requires work authorization without sponsorship, onsite presence in Iceland, and ability to lift heavy objects in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with asset management software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- A curious nature to identify and solve problems
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment
- Comfortable working in a data center environment
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects
- Capable of flexing and pivoting as priorities shift
- A passion for technology and a willingness to learn about the latest advancements in cloud compute services
