Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive inventory schedules to meet customer demands and shipping goals. Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and shipping departments to manage raw material supply while minimizing carrying costs. Analyze production data to identify trends, recommend scheduling improvements, and conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies. Prepare for external and internal audits including ISO 9001 and bank reviews. Collaborate with vendors to reorder materials and assist branches as needed. Work flexible hours including occasional evening and weekend shifts to meet production deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years' experience in a production inventory environment
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed and which may include occasional evening and/or weekend work to meet production deadlines as needed
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for extended periods
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tools such as ECCCO, Oracle, Microsoft, and IFS
- Strong knowledge of workflow and presentation of parts
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail for accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
