Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist maintains and promotes accuracy of retail store inventory by executing on-demand and prescriptive inventory cycle counts, investigating and reconciling inventory variances, communicating opportunities and discrepancies with Store Leadership, and supporting replenishment and sales while mitigating merchandise loss. The role involves collaborating with the sales floor, receiving teams and retail leadership, performing inventory adjustments, reviewing price change reports, and providing customer service on the floor. Requires eligibility for a Retail Dealers Employee License (Pink Card) to handle and/or sell Firearms and Ammunition, proficiency with inventory reporting tools (System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, DOMO), and strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two years of experience
- Eligibility to obtain Retail Dealers Employee License (Pink Card) permit to handle and/or sell Firearms and Ammunition
- Ability to use System Two, RF/Gizmo devices and DOMO reporting
- Ability to generate and analyze inventory reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively with store leadership and colleagues
- Ability to perform inventory cycle counts and adjustments
- Customer service orientation and ability to assist customers
