Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely restocking of materials or products. This role helps minimize discrepancies, optimize inventory flow, and support efficient operations across departments. Key duties include monitoring/manage inventory levels using an ERP system with Min/Max alerts, conducting cycle and physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, preparing inventory reports, assisting with audits and regulatory compliance, communicating with customers about material issues, supporting receiving and production activities to ensure on-time delivery, identifying areas for continuous improvement, coordinating hot shots, analyzing OSR, adhering to plant safety protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems. Proficiency in MS Excel and the use of spreadsheets for data management and analysis is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 3+ years of experience in Business, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management/Logistics
