Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist responsible for organizing parts and materials for the Production Engineering Team, receiving items into inventory, performing regular counts, maintaining the item database, coordinating with Supply Chain, leading and training staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe handling, coordinating with stock pickers for correct material loading, maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards, and creating MBOMs in the MRP system; requires US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field, and experience with Deltek Costpoint, DoD/DoE clearances, forklift, and military experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 – 7 years inventory experience
- Strong organization skills
- High attention to detail
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Procurement software, email)
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
- May require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 30 pounds
- Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted, and well-ventilated; moderate physical hazards may exist
