Job Summary
Maintain accurate and organized inventory by pulling detail and finished goods parts per Bill of Materials and stocking all hardware inventories. Receive returned parts by completing general receiving reports and modify the computerized inventory system to reflect daily transactions and current levels. Assist with monthly inventory and weekly cycle counts, while conducting all business transactions in a professional manner congruent to company policy. Practice safe procedures when using material handling equipment and wear required PPE on the manufacturing floor.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to read and understand tolerances on manufacturing drawings
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Experience using computers
- Demonstrated decision-making ability utilizing good judgment in determining the appropriate guideline, procedure, and application to utilize in solving problems
- Thorough understanding of process flows, lead times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- Detail oriented with the ability to use elementary measuring tools i.e. micrometer calipers and electronic calipers
- Some knowledge of MRP principles
