Inventory Control Manager (On-Site)

Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end inventory control across raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods in a food manufacturing and packaging operation. Lead cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliation, and the development/maintenance of inventory procedures to maintain accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance. Partner with Operations, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality to optimize material availability, production scheduling, and inventory performance while supporting new product launches and packaging changes. Drive Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives, manage inventory adjustments, and ensure FIFO/FEFO and proper lot tracking. Apply strong analytical skills to monitor KPIs, support month-end/quarter-end/year-end reporting, and mentor Inventory Control Supervisors/Analysts to uphold high performance. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics), WMS, and data analysis in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups, is required. Preferred qualifications include CPIM certification, experience with SQF/BRC/FDA/USDA compliance, and Lean/Six Sigma training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of inventory control, warehouse, supply chain, or materials management experience within a food manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience
- Experience managing raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods inventories
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting food safety and regulatory compliance programs
