Job Summary
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste. Oversee regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and reconciling discrepancies. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for improvement. Manage the inventory management system to ensure data integrity and collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to resolve inventory-related issues. Establish and monitor key performance indicators for inventory accuracy and turns. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
