Job Summary
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies while overseeing all aspects of inventory accuracy, including cycle counting and physical inventories. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels through collaboration with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams. Manage and mentor a team of inventory control specialists and clerks, implementing and maintaining inventory management software and systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management efficiency and reduce costs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management with 5+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus
- APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM)
- Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) in inventory management
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the manufacturing workforce
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
