Inventory Control Lead

Job Summary
Lead daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and material verification. Assign, prioritize, and monitor workload for Inventory Control personnel while investigating discrepancies to implement corrective actions. Review and approve inventory transactions within Epicor, partner with Receiving, Production, and Purchasing to resolve material flow issues, and ensure accuracy through regular audits. Develop, maintain, and enforce inventory control SOPs, monitor KPIs, and communicate performance risks to leadership. Train and mentor team members to promote accountability and continuous improvement. Support physical inventories, internal audits, and cross-functional initiatives while adhering to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse inventory control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership or lead experience supervising inventory operations
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic preferred)
- Experience investigating inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, material flow, and inventory transactions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel, scanning devices, reporting tools)

- Experience leading annual physical inventories
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
- Experience developing inventory procedures, KPIs, and training materials
