Job Summary
Inventory Control Lead responsible for determining inventory accuracy by counting items, comparing with computer inventory, locating misclassified inventory, and reporting discrepancies. Conducts counts, ensures materials are in proper locations, weighs and marks remaining quantity, publishes weekly and quarterly inventory metrics, performs root cause analysis on discrepancies and recommends process improvements, and operates forklift/reach truck/pickers in a third-shift warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excel spreadsheet experience preferred
- Read and write to access information on the computer
- Operate forklift, reach truck and other picking tools
- Stand, squat, kneel and bend for long periods
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- 3rd shift availability
- Understanding of fractions, percentages, and ratios
