Inventory Control Group Leader CVG 100-404 shift

Lead daily operations as defined in inventory control procedures, monitoring department performance and utilizing existing procedures to develop or suggest revisions for optimum efficiency. Drive shortest processing times for all received material by recommending recovery methods when necessary, while ensuring tools, equipment, and visual aids remain in proper working order. Provide accurate feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments to solve issues related to schedules, equipment, documentation, and personnel. Interface with departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, and program management to ensure production lines receive correct parts and that material is stocked promptly. Verify aging of materials in receiving and shipping locations, maintain accurate record keeping for shipping and stockroom documents, and eliminate errors impacting quality, budget, and efficiency. Identify performance issues and strengths for team members to report to supervisors while adhering to all safety, health, and security policies.
