Job Summary
Inventory Control Generalist role at Owens & Minor; verify receiving receipts, perform cycle counts on RF units, research and resolve inventory discrepancies, conduct customer-service counts, maintain accurate inventory locations, rotate inventory per policy, process returns and create required debit memos, and assemble/pack/ship manufacturer or vendor returns. Requires 1-3 years of inventory experience, familiarity with RF units, data entry, and basic math/accounting tasks; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs constantly. Competitive hourly wage of $20.33 with full-time benefits and structured daytime schedule (Mon-Fri 4:00 am to 12:30 pm with overtime).
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Inventory experience
- General knowledge of math, reading, basic accounting, typing
- Reach lift, order picker lift, computer, RF unit, inventory reports, accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, catalogs, printer, manuals
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
