Job Summary
Inventory Control Cycle Counter ensures the accuracy of inventory records for work-in-process, raw materials, and finished goods using cycle counting and transaction auditing. Responsibilities include reconciling counts, reviewing inventory data for accuracy, reporting discrepancies and conditions causing errors, identifying material locations to audit, training personnel on inventory methods, auditing and adjusting transactions (including WIP and BOM-related adjustments), performing inter-site transactions, and supporting process improvements. Requires proficiency with math, blueprint reading, and operating equipment such as forklifts; experience with IFS/QAD systems and MS Office is preferred. Standard shift is first shift (7 AM–3 PM) with potential overtime. Benefits information and compliance/support details are included in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months previous experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- 6 months prior experience using computer inventory control system
- 6 months prior experience operating heavy equipment
- Proficient math skills (including decimals)
- Ability to read tape measure and micrometer
- Experience reading blueprints
- Experience operating forklift
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Experience with IFS system (preferred)
- Experience with QAD item set-up (preferred)
- Attention to safety and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
