Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Summary
Inventory Control Coordinator oversees receiving and stockroom operations, plans daily work schedules for the areas, updates Excel-based schedules, and ensures timely delivery of quality kits to production. Leads a team to maintain clean, organized stock areas and communicates with production, staff, and customers. Interfaces with other departments to meet delivery schedules and participates in NPI meetings. Responsible for reconciliations and transactions in the inventory system, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate physical inventory. Operates the materials control system to meet MRP, ISO 9001/13485, GMP, and ITAR audit requirements in a Lean environment. Implements processes, organizes resources, provides training, and applies management controls to meet business requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- 3-5 years of stockroom management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with automating stockroom functions (e.g. barcoding)
- Knowledge of material management concepts (stocking programs, Lean, traffic/transportation procedures, cycle counting, shelf life)
- APICS certification or other related degree
- Experience with MRP systems and ISO 9001/13485 familiarity (preferred)
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and packaging (preferred)
