Job Summary
Conduct weekly cycle counts to reconcile stock with computer reports, execute yearly physical inventories, and manage bin placement with strict adherence to safety protocols for chemicals. Investigate and resolve issues regarding sales and purchase orders, process Return Merchandise Authorizations, and assist in handling freight claims through the online portal. Manage inventory adjustments within the Navision system and communicate cycle count results to stakeholders for data analysis. This role supports the efficient warehouse operation, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting to management.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years of experience in inventory control and warehouse operations, or equivalent Military or practical experience
- 1+ year of experience operating a sit-down forklift and order picker/cherry picker
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of OSHA-approved safety shoes from the first day of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Navision is preferred but not required
