Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Summary

Conduct daily cycle counts, rack audits, and physical inventory preparations across warehouse and manufacturing areas. Reconcile discrepancies by analyzing transaction history, preparing inventory adjustments, and updating accuracy metrics. Enforce CTPAT compliance, monitor transaction accuracy, and report usage changes or parts shortages to planners. Assist with receiving, Kanban picking, and preventative maintenance while adhering to safety and housekeeping guidelines. Review warehouse layouts to suggest efficiency improvements. Requires one year of warehouse experience, forklift certification, and familiarity with inventory systems.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year warehouse/forklift experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend (in English) simple and complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Documents may include: Material Safety Data Sheets, work orders, work instructions, manuals, policies and procedures, schematics, diagrams, etc
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Must be forklift certified or have the ability to be forklift certified
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems in a practical manner

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with KANBAN System preferred
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing preferred
  • Familiar with computerized inventory system preferred
