Job Summary
Inventory Control Coordinator role in-store: serves as the subject matter expert for inventory movement and item resolution, focused on shrink mitigation and training Team Members on inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include maintaining count-ready backrooms, cap stock, and yard, collaborating with Loss Prevention and Corporate Inventory Control on shrink concerns, entering and auditing inventory adjustments, understanding adjustment reason codes, maintaining paperwork, and coordinating monthly/quarterly/special event inventories. Leads and coordinates the annual inventory count preparation, organization, variances, and count authorization, and handles Return to Vendor/Warehouse and Defective Return Processing. Requires High School Diploma or GED (preferred), forklift certification, experience with retail inventory, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- 2 years of retail inventory, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
- Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
