Job Summary
Maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse facilities by conducting cycle counts, managing product rotation, and resolving discrepancies. Oversee inventory claims, process adjustments for damages or expirations, and reconcile book records to ensure data integrity. Monitor shipments and receipts for month-end closing, analyze system data to identify issues, and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures. Direct warehouse employees to comply with food safety, DQMP, and OSHA regulations while building relationships with key customers. Complete necessary training for staff on the WMS system.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift Experience: Must have Cherry Picker and Sit-Down Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clients
- Education: Associates Degree in Logistics, Operations or Business or 3-5 years of related experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of inventory management experience, preferably in a warehousing environment
- Experience in high-volume distribution environment preferred
- Experience working JD Edwards and Warehouse Management systems (Red Prairie) preferred
- Experience with JD Edwards and Red Prairie preferred
- Excellent communication skills WMS/LMS
- Experience with Red Prairie
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations & technology
- Literate in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Great attention to detail

- Knowledge of a WMS, specifically Red Prairie, is a plus
