Inventory Control Clerk

Job Summary

Oversee warehouse inventory by maintaining data integrity, researching root causes of discrepancies, and designing internal controls to drive accuracy. Lead cycle counting activities, develop weekly analysis reporting, and establish partnerships with clients and operations to build inventory precision. Challenge existing processes to implement continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with OHS and food safety protocols. Supervise staff and manage inventory transactions through WMS systems and ERP platforms. This role requires 3–5 years of warehouse management experience and proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.

Required Qualifications

  • at least 3 years of continual employment

  • demonstrated work history in logistics and warehouse systems management
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or equivalent warehouse management systems
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management
  • Experience with demand planning, MRP systems, and logistics operations including shipping & receiving
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
  • Strong communication skills for negotiation and collaboration across departments
  • Warehouse experience including materials handling equipment operation
  • forklift certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with WMS systems
  • good working knowledge of MS Office (excel)
  • Team oriented individual able to work constructively and cooperatively with team members as well as with other departments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focused
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to conduct the root cause analysis and proactively analyze findings and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing processes
  • Strong computer skills
