Job Summary
Inventory Control Associate responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, product verification, and transaction processing in the warehouse management system. Requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in inventory management software, and ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Ensures compliance with Food Safety and USDA regulations, generates inventory reports, investigates discrepancies, and seeks process improvements. Typically scheduled on first shift, with potential overtime including weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or related roles
- Experience using inventory management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and data entry
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs with assistance), work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
