Inventory Control Associate

Job Summary
Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with control procedures. Collaborate with Inspection, Planning, Customer Service, Sourcing, and Finance to deliver resolutions and eliminate root causes of problems through sustainable solutions. Participate in continuous improvement events, facilitate Layered Process Audits (LPAs), and drive improvements based on findings. Assist in ordering parts by sending quotes, writing purchase orders, and receiving deliveries, while inputting Risk Notification data into Intelex and maintaining inventory quantities using Excel. Initiate communication with Warehouse employees to resolve picking errors and update training checklists as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
- PIT certification
- Strong organization and problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and/or pivot tables
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity in ERP (Enterprise resource planning) software
- Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface with people across multiple functional areas
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
- Knowledge of quality control procedures in data management
- Basic understanding in engineering drawings
- Ability to effectively organize and plan workload
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships across functional areas
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment
- Knowledge with barcoding program Nice Label
- Ability to classify parts using AutoCAD drawings
