Inventory Control Associate I

Job Summary
Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile results against Nordson's established policies. Monitor count completeness reports to identify materials requiring counting and ensure 100% coverage. Input and maintain count records, material transactions, and master data via SAP. Assist in root-cause analysis for errors and collaborate with customer service, warehouse, and purchasing teams. Requires 3 to 5 years of inventory control experience, SAP knowledge, and strong numeric aptitude. This role supports Nordson Product Assembly's mission to optimize material use and lower production costs across global markets including automotive and electronics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment
- Math/numeric aptitude
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, ability to multi-task
Desired Qualifications
- Some college
- Cycle count and record reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing, and inventory control functions
