Job Summary
Perform timely and accurate cycle counts of inventory, execute inventory adjustments, and maintain accuracy at item and location levels in a fully onsite role at Hampshire, IL. Duties include quarterly cycle counting, updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS), tracking lot information and dates, ensuring correct stock locations and pick slots, communicating potential inventory losses (e.g., expiration, temperature issues), correcting mis-located products, researching discrepancies (OS&D), and supporting food safety requirements through adherence to applicable policies. Operate and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) safely, and perform related duties to minimize warehouse shrink and ensure accurate inventory control. This role requires attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a physical assessment
- Intermediate math and proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Certification on material handling equipment or ability to become certified
