Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and quality compliance across inbound/outbound warehouse operations. Performs cycle counts, verifies product accuracy, investigates discrepancies, and identifies root causes. Partners with warehouse teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement to maintain inventory integrity. Maintains records in the warehouse management system (NetSuite preferred) and ensures proper handling, labeling, and storage. Requires forklift experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and adherence to safety/compliance standards. Schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Must pass background check and drug screen if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems; NetSuite preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Experience supporting or working with FTL, LTL, and parcel pick and pack operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to follow safety procedures and compliance standards in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 3+ years forklift experience
- Ability to lift/carry/move items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Background check and drug screen, if applicable
