Inventory Control Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborate with Demand Planning to analyze historical trends and adjust inventory levels, ensuring appropriate stock positions to maximize sales and gross margin. Execute strategic replenishment plans by tracking incoming materials to guarantee on-time delivery and preventing out-of-stocks through expediting decisions. Monitor inventory positions and demand pulses to identify potential overages or shortages before they impact operations, while optimizing safety stock levels across warehouses and facilities. Adjust order strategies with field and regional teams based on current trends and future plans, utilizing supply chain strategy to enhance overall inventory effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience working within a manufacturing supply chain industry
  • Associate's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of ER/MRP system such as MAPICS or equivalent software
  • Knowledgeable with MS Office Suite, Advanced MS Excel
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to organize and direct the quality of the work of teams amidst the demands of multiple projects and demanding internal and external customers
  • Ability to work and handle multiple cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to senior-level management, customers and suppliers
  • Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift between 30 to 50 lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Must be able to pass EVerify

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with relevant operations and/or business field of study
