Job Summary
Inventory Clerk responsibilities include pulling and issuing materials from inventory to support product builds and manufacturing; stocking raw materials from incoming inspection, WIP close out, and customer returns; maintaining accurate inventory records by entering movements in the computer system or scanner; investigating and identifying inventory discrepancies; accepting, sorting, and placing materials into warehouse stock with proper labeling; performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies; coordinating with planning to ensure timely material movement to meet production needs; reading work orders to determine inventory adjustments; using computer or scanner to manage inventory and allocate locations for finished goods; ensuring quantity accuracy and tidy stock rooms; preparing for quarterly and yearly physical inventories; following quality and safety procedures; promoting service excellence and aligning with organizational values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year inventory experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize, prioritize, complete tasks, and manage time; work well under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision; self-starter
- Attention to detail; accurate documentation
- Ability to read and understand work orders, pick lists, sales orders, and Bills of Materials
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions; adhere to quality procedures
- Ability to recognize and help resolve problems
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and be reasonably ambulatory
