Job Summary
Inventory Clerk responsible for counting, classifying, and organizing merchandise; manage data entry to update inventory levels using systems like Excel, SAP, or Oracle; receive, unpack, verify incoming shipments, and prepare items for outgoing orders; identify discrepancies and report them; replenish shelves and maintain a clean, organized stockroom; requires high attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; typical duties include inventory control, data management, shipment handling, reporting and auditing, and stock maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: Previous warehousing, shipping, or logistics experience preferred (6 months to 2 years)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, good communication
