Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists while accurately entering inventory transactions into company systems. Maintain organized storage areas in compliance with safety standards, conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to resolve discrepancies, and assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely while reading shipping documents and invoices. This role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, and exposure to dust or temperature variations. High school diploma required with preferred experience in warehouse operations or inventory control.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and data entry skills
- Ability to read and interpret inventory and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20-50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and overhead lifting
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated levels
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 50% or more of the workday)
- Perform a combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day
- Involve exposure to dust, fumes, or temperature variation
