Job Summary
Maintain and update inventory records by counting materials and components in stock. Update system lead times, delivery dates, and pricing while supplying electronic components to the manufacturing line. Assist with receiving goods into the warehouse and packing items for shipment. Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer balances. Perform additional duties as needed. This full-time, non-exempt position at Actia Electronics in Romulus, Michigan, supports a growing supply chain organization serving automotive, medical, military, and industrial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a strong background in math
- Must have strong communications skills
- Must have the ability to successfully interface with various internal departments and business units at all company levels
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft Word
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook
