Inventory Buy Signal Analyst (Associate/Experienced/Subject Matter Expert) in Dallas, TX. Analyze buy signals from the Planning Tool, verify demand, and determine purchasing actions vs. alternatives (e.g., stock transfers, reassignment of restricted inventory, alternate sources, or adjusted forecasts). Validate inventory certification/status (shelf-life, lot traceability, quality release) before usage and document buy-signal decisions. Identify recurring buy-signal causes and contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement to reduce unnecessary buys and inventory carrying costs. Strong focus on inventory optimization, service levels, cost control, and regulatory/certification requirements with emphasis on data-driven analysis and collaboration across teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ total years of related experience
- 1+ years of experience with asset management, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation
- 1+ years of experience with Supply Chain Planning
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining
- Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
